Mikaela McDonnell is the owner and head teacher at Home Tone Piano Academy.

She has 10+ years of piano teaching experience and has taught people of all ages, from 6 to 66!

After receiving her Associates Teaching Diploma from the Royal Irish Academy of Music in 2015 and graduating with a degree in Music from Maynooth University in 2016, it became Mikaela’s dream to open her own music school.

In 2021 Mikaela saw the opportunity of teaching piano online to provide music education while people were restricted and Home Tone Piano Academy was born.

It is Mikaela’s mission to provide an all rounded, fun, and creative music education to her students and provide them with the skills to become well rounded, independent musicians.
